Tiny terms and conditions can destroy business.

Frank Jennings recently wrote an article on The Register titled “Cloud provider goes TITSUP? Will someone think of the data!” and this got me thinking, how clear are your terms and conditions, or do you expect your customers to understand technical language and complex subsections?

Here are my 3 top tips:

Terms and Conditions should be in a legible font size – not needing a magnifying glass to read them.

They should be written in a language the customer can understand.

Terms and Conditions of Sale should be no more than 1 page.
